ANNOUNCEMENT:
CHANGE IN ORDERING OF AFFYMETRIX CHIPS
Affymetrix is continually updating their GeneChip™ product line and the
pricing of the arrays. To simplify and streamline the ordering of
Affymetrix chips, the following changes have been made. It will no
longer be necessary to order Affymetrix chips through the ArrayTracker
system; you should order directly from Affymetrix via the usual method
through your purchasing agent. Be sure to specify on your order that
you should receive the discounted NCI/NIH pricing that Affymetrix has
agreed to. For budgetary reasons, the subsidy for Affymetrix chips
has been lowered from $150 to $100. To obtain the subsidy, please
contact Dr. David Goldstein at goldsted@ncifcrf.gov.
